Authentic Rörstrand "Dala" pattern ovenproof earthenware (ugns-eldfast) bowl. Made in Sweden between 1954 and 1957. Features a hand-painted Scandinavian folk-art floral motif with red bands. Fully stamped on base with "Dala Rorstrand Sweden 38 UGNS-ELDFAST" and embossed with shape number 38. Clean condition with no crazing. Structurally sound. Has a few very small dark marks inside the base and a minor glaze defect/tiny nick on the rim that has darkened over time (shown in photos). Excellent display piece.
