Delightful stoneware mug stamped “Japan” on the base, featuring a sculptural lion face in warm earthy tones and a comfortable curved handle. Likely made in the mid‑20th century—possibly by Otagiri, Gempo, or John Buck—these fun mugs were crafted for export in the 1960s–70s. Would make a lovely gift as it is in excellent condition.
