Rupert Andrews Pottery was established in 1974 and he is still making pottery today. This piece of Mochaware (refers to the technique, mocha diffusion) is a piece of his earlier work from the 70's. He later went on to discover a unique way of creating crackleglaze while maintaining a full watertight seal and is now creating very colourful crackleglaze pieces from his home in Beaminster UK.
This wall plate has a hole in the back to allow it to be hung and is a beautiful piece, like a burnt landscape.
