A beautifully petite jasperware-style vase, dating from the early 1900s and topped with a hallmarked sterling silver rim made by G.E. Walton, Birmingham, in 1908.

This piece is a lovely example of Wedgwood-inspired decorative ware — featuring dark green ceramic with classical white relief and elegant open handles. The silver collar is fully hallmarked and adds a refined finish. Though unmarked, the ceramic body was likely made by one of the smaller Staffordshire potteries producing high-quality jasperware-style pieces during the Edwardian period.

This dark green color, sometimes known as "Dysart" green, was produced in limited quantities in the very early 1900's. It's characterized by a rich, deep green with white classical figures applied to the surface. It was produced in small quantities and is relatively uncommon, especially in good condition due to issues with the pigment.

In excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks. A rare little treasure — perfect for displaying a single bloom, or simply to enjoy on its own.

7cm diameter x 12cm high
