Beautiful solid wee vessel that has multiple uses including a handleless coffee cup, vase, pencil or paintbrush pot. It would make a wonderful gift as it is in excellent condition.
"David Griffith, tutor at Borland Lodge 1987, was a Nelson potter...
David and wife Lynne, made pottery at their Tahuna Beach property at Nelson for some years. The couple were instrumental in setting up 'Community Potters', a community based city group, in 1977. At one point David was president of the Nelson Potter's Association.
David mainly produced domestic ware in large quantities in electric kilns, which he ran almost continuously, but earlier on he did a lot of striped and geometric patterned pottery, he also dabbled in random sawdust firing. Lynne has moved on from pottery to photography." Taken from the Borland School Website
David passed away in October 2025
